Fresh spell of rain lashes parts of Delhi, brings relief from warm weather

In the middle of Saturday, the national capital experienced a refreshing bout of rainfall, causing a drop in the city’s temperature.

Images captured near India Gate depict vehicles such as cars, autorickshaws, and scooters navigating the rain-soaked streets. This precipitation serves as a significant relief for the residents of the city, who had been enduring a week of sweltering heat.

Several areas in Delhi, including RK Puram, Lok Kalyan Marg, and India Gate, received a new spell of showers.

Earlier in the day, a team from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) successfully evacuated six individuals who were stranded in the Ambajhari Lake area due to heavy rainfall in parts of Nagpur, Maharashtra.

Additionally, there were reports of waterlogging on Canal Road in Ramdaspeth, Nagpur, leading to residents being trapped in their homes as floodwaters entered their residences.
