French Prez’s day out in Pink City with PM Modi

Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, arrived in the Pink City on Thursday, a day before before Republic Day celebrations in the national capital where he will be the chief guest.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was pictured extending him a warm welcome at Jantar Mantar. The two leaders warmly greeted each other and posed for the cameras. They then headed to see Jantar Mantar.
The French President and Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a mega roadshow in in the city. They moved in an open car with PM Modi and witnessed the cultural heritage from Jaipur’s Parakote.

As soon as Modi and Macron’s convoy emerged from Tripoli Gate, a large crowd chanted slogans in favor of both leaders. Along with ‘Jai Shri Ram,’ cheers of ‘Modi-Macron Ki Dosti Zindabad’ were also heard. During this time, both leaders shook hands with the crowd, accepting greetings along the entire route. The roadshow, starting from Jantar Mantar, concluded at Sanganeri Gate. After this, the convoy of Modi and Macron reached Hotel Rambagh.

Following the roadshow, PM Modi and French President visited Hawa Mahal. Hawa Mahal, also known as ‘Palace of Breeze’, was built in 1799 as an extension to the Royal City Palace of Jaipur.
Prior to the road show, French President Emmanuel Macron arrived at Jantar Mantar in Pink City, Jaipur.
Earlier, Macron arrived at Amber Fort in Rajasthan’s Jaipur. He also met school students who gathered there to welcome him.

On his visit to the fort, the French President was accompanied by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. At the fort, Macron also posed for a picture with Jaishankar and Diya Kumari.

As the French President walked around the Royal fort and took in the unique architecture, he was also given an overview of the history the fort carries. Macron appreciated Rajasthani painting and art and also interacted with artists at Amber Fort.

Royal feast
Meanwhile, a royal feast was organised at Hotel Rambagh. In this, Macron tasted the Rajasthani cuisine Dal-Baati-Churma. Millet-based dishes were also served to him. Additionally, dishes like Ker-Sangri ki Sabzi and chutney were included in the dinner. Macron enjoyed these dishes. Special French dishes were also prepared at Hotel Rambagh for him. After dinner, discussions were held on various issues between the two. Late at night, Modi and Macron left for Delhi.

Presentation of Folk Dances
For the welcome of Modi and Macron, people waved their hands with photos of both leaders. Along with the national flag, a grand welcome was extended to both dignitaries. Earlier, when Macron and Modi left for Parakote from the airport at different times, folk dance performances were presented at various places, including Albert Hall. School students also arrived to welcome them.

Greeting at Jantar Mantar, Macron Asked Two Questions
After visiting Amer, when Macron reached Jantar Mantar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was already present there. He greeted Macron upon seeing him, and both warmly hugged with full enthusiasm. After that, they visited Jantar Mantar. Here, Macron saw the Samrat Yantra, which is the largest instrument at Jantar Mantar with a height of 90 feet. Meanwhile, when Modi and Macron reached Hawa Mahal, they asked two questions to PM Modi. The first question was about the number of windows in Hawa Mahal. While the second question was why the glass in the windows is blue. Modi answered both questions.

Governor Mishra shared a photo on the social media platform ‘X’ and wrote, ‘Welcome, congratulations. With the sacred stream of sacrifice and sacrifice, a heartfelt welcome and congratulations to President Emmanuel Macron of France for visiting Rajasthan.’

CM Writes, ‘Welcome to My Country, Guest is God’
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma shared a post on ‘Ex’ and wrote, ‘Welcome to my country, Atithi Devo Bhavah.’ With the spirit of valor, sacrifice, and sacrifice, a heartfelt welcome and congratulations to President Emmanuel Macron of France for visiting Rajasthan at the airport.
