In a shocking revelation, a case of fraudulent activities involving the forgery of the Deputy Tehsildar’s signature has emerged in Charkhi Dadri. The scandal involves the approval of 36 pending death cases and 3 Fard Badar, and the employees responsible for the scam are now under investigation.
Deputy Tehsildar Ankit lodged a complaint with the Tehsildar, alleging that during his four-month tenure as Sub-Tehsildar in Dadri, vacant death numbers in Halka Dadri I were approved by forging his signature on old dates. The irregularities came to light after an inquiry by the Economic Offenses Wing, prompting the registration of a case at the Dadri City Police Station.
Tehsildar Karnav Lakra reported the fraud to the Dadri City police station, accusing individuals of deceitfully accepting death and Fard Badar. Subsequently, the Dadri Economic Offenses Wing conducted an investigation, leading to the registration of a case under sections 120-B, 419, and 420 at the city police station.
Deputy Tehsildar Ankit expressed suspicions about the involvement of the Patwari, Halka Computer Operator, and Halka Kanungo in the fraud, urging an inquiry into the matter. The Deputy Commissioner’s office received Ankit’s report, which detailed the suspicious activities surrounding 36 Itkaal and 3 Fard Badar, all approved through forged signatures during Ankit’s tenure.
The fraudulent activities encompassed interval numbers such as 39401, 39593, 39594, and many more in Dadri Halka I. Additionally, Fard Badar numbers 3, 5, and 255 were also subjected to forgery.
In response to the Economic Offenses Wing’s investigation report, a case has been officially registered. The Dadri City Police Station is now tasked with uncovering the individuals involved in the scam and determining their roles. The investigation by the City Police Station has already commenced under the leadership of SI and SHO Rajkumar.
