The winter challenges persist in northern India, impacting flight operations significantly as dense fog blankets Delhi and Chandigarh. Reduced visibility has led to delays and cancellations, prompting diversions to Jaipur Airport. The current weather conditions have caused an influx of air traffic at Jaipur airport, resulting in several cancellations.
Approximately six flights, including two international ones, were diverted to Jaipur due to the ongoing foggy conditions. Air India’s Kathmandu to Delhi flight (L 212), Jammu to Delhi flight, and Vietjet’s Hanoi to Delhi flight (VJ 971) were among those diverted to Jaipur. Additionally, Air India’s Bengaluru to Delhi flight (AL 808), Alliance Air’s Indore to Delhi flight (9L 622), and Indigo’s Bengaluru to Chandigarh flight (6E 6385) also experienced diversions to Jaipur.
