Fire Ravages Shanties In Yamuna Khadar Slum Cluster, No Casualties Reported

A fire erupted in multiple shanties within the Yamuna Khadar slum cluster in East Delhi on Saturday morning, as confirmed by officials. Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties.

The Delhi Fire Service Department was alerted at 10:46 am and promptly dispatched seven fire units to the scene. Efforts are currently underway to extinguish the flames.

“An incident of fire occurred in 11-12 shanties in the Yamuna Khadar area,” stated officials.

Further details regarding the incident and the cause of the fire are pending investigation.

Earlier, on May 24, a significant fire incident was reported at the Carnival Resort in Delhi’s Alipur area, as per fire officials.
