A fire erupted in several shanties in the Yamuna Khadar slum cluster in east Delhi on Saturday morning, officials reported. No casualties have been reported.
The Delhi Fire Service Department received the call at 10:46 am. According to the department, upon receiving the information, seven fire units were dispatched to the site, and efforts are underway to extinguish the fire. Officials stated, “A fire broke out in 11-12 Jhuggi’s in the Yamuna Khadar area.” Further details are awaited, and the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
