MUMBAI: A significant fire ignited at a ground-plus-one storey industrial estate in Mumbai’s Dahisar area, with no casualties reported. The incident occurred at 11:10 pm on Saturday in the Vardhaman Industrial Cooperative Society, a northern suburb. Firefighters, deploying seven fire engines, six jumbo tankers, a water tanker, and medical support, managed to extinguish the “level-2” blaze by 6:10 am on Sunday. The fire was contained to a few units on the ground and first floors, with the removal of eight to nine LPG cylinders for safety. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
