A fire broke out at a factory on Saturday morning in Delhi’s Narela Industrial Area (NIA). Twenty fire trucks were dispatched to the scene, and no injuries or deaths have been reported. The fire was being extinguished until the last inputs were received. The fire started at 7.56 a.m., according to fire officials.

This is the second fire incident in Narela this week. A fire broke out at a slipper factory on Tuesday, killing three people and injuring 17 others. The fire started on the factory’s second floor. Sameer (17), Sonu Thakur (24), and Akhil Kumar were identified as the deceased (20).
The slipper factory’s owner and contractor were both arrested. Following the fire, the Delhi Police filed a case against the factory owner under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
