Khalistani Supporter and Chief of Waris Punjab De Amritpal Singh is yet again in the headlines. This time Amritpal and his supporters are alleged to have kidnapped and physically beaten an Amritdhari youth named Varinder, who tried to expose Amritpal’s fake agenda on social media.
According to the information, in a statement given to Tehsil Chamkaur Sahib district Roop Nagar police, Varinder Singh said that he had posted some posts on Facebook against Amritpal. Since then Amritpal was having an issue with him. Recently he had come to Amritsar to have word with the Sikhs of Taksal. Amritpal also had messaged his wish to talk to him.
According to Varinder’s statement, he had just come out after having dinner when a car stopped near him. Some youths got down from the car and kidnapped him and brought him on a motor near Jandiala Guru where he found Amritpal standing with his supporters. First Amritpal slapped Varinder and then asked his supporters to beat Varinder.
According to Varinder, Amritpal was repeatedly asking him to make a video naming Deep Sidhu’s brothers Mandeep Singh, Palwinder Singh Talwara, and Baba Bakshish Singh. When he refused, they started hitting him more. Later Amritpal and his associates made a video of his apology.
Before leaving, Amritpal threatened him and said that if he ever said anything against him, he would kill him and his family. On Varinder’s statement, Ajnala police station has registered a case against Amritpal and his associates under various sections.
In FIR Varinder Singh mentioned Amritpal’s Fake Sikhi Propaganda through which he brainwashed the youth against the country. He also mentioned in FIR that Amritpal is trying to settle his own scores and has nothing to do with Sikh culture.
