Fighter, Singham Again, Merry Christmas: 2024’s must-see Hindi movies

The Hindi film industry returned in 2023, and what a return it made, after two arduous years of hardship during the pandemic! With the release of two huge blockbusters, Jawan and Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan revitalized theaters this year. Additionally making their marks in the record books are Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. A number of eagerly awaited Hindi films are scheduled for release in 2024, adding to the promising cinematic landscape that is riding high on the success of 2023. The following is a summary of the main releases that are planned for this year:

Fighter

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, two of Hindi cinema’s most endearing stars, come together in this Siddharth Anand-directed film. The pair, who are playing Indian Air Force pilots in the movie, have a great on-screen chemistry that is apparent in both the lively songs and the recently released teaser. On January 25, 2024, a day before Republic Day, Fighter will be released.

Merry Christmas

With Merry Christmas, critically acclaimed director Sriram Raghavan takes the helm for the first time in six years. Fans and celebrities in Bollywood alike praised the movie’s trailer. On January 12, this romantic thriller starring Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif in the lead parts, will be released in theaters.

Singham Again

The reveal of Singham Again expanded and bolded Rohit Shetty’s world of cops. Bollywood’s biggest stars, including Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone, are part of the ensemble cast of this third installment of the wildly popular cop series, Singham. The release date is August 15.
