Three People were killed while four others were injured after an occurrence of a collision between a car and a truck on the Badarpur flyover in New Delhi late on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
Police say that at 12:48 a.m., PS Badarpur received a PCR call reporting a collision between a car and a truck on the Badarpur flyover close to a showroom.
It was discovered during the initial investigation that one automobile was leaving Faridabad after attending a wedding.
Following the collision, the injured were moved to the AIIMS Trauma Center.
“Seven persons were in the car. On the Badarpur flyover car driver lost control and the car hit the divider and went on opposite carriageway, colliding with one truck. Three died and others were shifted to AIIMS Trauma Center,” police added.
All victims were residents of Sanjay Colony Okhala.
Further investigation is underway, officials added.
