NEW DELHI: It takes a lot of guts to not be diplomatic and speak your mind in the Indian film industry as there is a risk of your words being misconstrued. One such actor who doesn’t believe in mincing his words is Siddharth. The ‘Rang De Basanti’ actor made an honest remark about ‘unrealistic body standards promoted by ‘chiselled’ Bollywood stars on Twitter.
Siddharth was paying a tribute to legendary actor and wrestler Dara Singh on his death anniversary, he tweeted, “This is how real strong men in cinema used to look back in the day. Today you see exaggerated fantasies that look nothing like what a body should. And achieved with steroids and growth hormones to boot. Remembering real #DaraSingh.”
