Ex-CM Hooda asserts BJP-JJP coalition must face public scrutiny in assembly

Former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, once again convened a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party ahead of the Assembly session to deliberate on the topics to be addressed during the proceedings. Hooda stated that the legislators brought up concerns related to fatalities resulting from tainted liquor in Yamunanagar-Ambala, unprecedented unemployment rates, deteriorating law and order conditions, instances of child sexual exploitation in Jind-Kaithal, mining irregularities, staffing shortages in hospitals, fraudulent activities, and the delayed compensation to farmers. He emphasized that proposals for Adjournment and Calling Attention motions have been submitted to address issues such as declining educational standards, Panchayati land matters, escalating pollution, contaminated irrigation water supply in Gurugram, and alterations to sports policies.
Apart from this, the Congress also plans to raise paper leak in recruitments, CET, Veterinary surgeon recruitment scam, completion of pending recruitments, irregularities and ignoring of reservation in temporary recruitments of Skill Employment Corporation, compensation of crops, non-purchase of paddy and other crops at MSP, fertilizers. Other issues that would be taken up include shortage of seeds, migration of youth due to unemployment, violation of rights of Panchayati Raj institutions, cutting of BPL cards of poor people, Health Minister leaving the work of his department.
At the same time, delegations of various sections and organizations also submitted memorandums regarding their demands to Hooda. The former Chief Minister said representations were made on issues relating to the final result of TGT recruitment, collector rate of vegetable market, problems of farmers, restoration of old pension, irregularities and denial of reservations in recruitments of Skill Employment Corporation, compensation for crops, paddy. He said memorandums have also been received regarding non-purchase of other crops at MSP, violation of rights of Panchayati Raj institutions, cutting of BPL cards of poor people and said the Congress MLAs will vociferously raise issues connect with the people in the House.
