Ex-civil servant from MP might enter politics

A former civil servant, Nisha Vargav, the Deputy Collector of Chhatarpur in Madhya Pradesh, has been making headlines recently. After being denied leave for her housewarming, she tendered her resignation, which the administration rejected. Following further protests, she sought clearance from Jabalpur High Court, which accepted her plea. Rumors are rife that she may join the Congress party, possibly running as a candidate in a constituency where the Congress lacks a strong contender.
