The Entrepreneurship and Rural Development Conclave 2024 in the Northern Region concluded with a grand closing ceremony at Panjab University, Chandigarh, on Saturday. The event, organized in collaboration with IIT Ropar and NITTTR Chandigarh, aimed to foster the entrepreneurial spirit among undergraduate students.
During the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor of Panjab University emphasized the importance of instigating and promoting a startup culture among students. He urged them to embrace innovation and make use of available grants at the institutional level.
Mita Rajeev Lochan, Secretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, engaged in an informal interaction with students, discussing the evolving entrepreneurial culture in the country.
The closing ceremony witnessed the presence of over 3000 students and NSS volunteers from schools and colleges in the tricity.
