Elephant spotted roaming in Parvathipuram station, villagers in panic

Early on Sunday morning, a lone elephant was seen ambling through the Parvathipuram railway station. According to sources, travelers photographed the elephant roaming around the train station with their cellphones. A group of elephants was discovered earlier in the same district, in the Garugubilli mandal, wandering close to the crop fields near Gottivalasa village.

Souces said villagers in Gottivalasa are left in panic due to the menace of the elephants.
Farmers are worried about their crops as in the past elephants have destroyed huge quantities of crops in the district.
