Electricity consumer grievance redressal forum in Panchkula to be held tomorrow

Uttar Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation is committed to providing uninterrupted power supply to consumers. The Corporation is running many ambitious programs for the quick resolution of consumer problems.

The Chairman and Member of the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum of the North Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation Circle Forum, Panchkula, will conduct proceedings on February 15th from 11:30 am in the office of the Superintending Engineer, Panchkula, SCO No. 96, 1st Floor, Sector-5, Panchkula.

Providing information in this regard, the spokesperson of the corporation mentioned that the forum members will listen to all types of problems faced by consumers in the district. These problems mainly include complaints related to billing, voltage, metering, disconnection and connection, obstacles in power supply, efficiency, safety, lack of reliability, and disobeying the orders of the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, among others.

He clarified that the forum will not entertain cases related to electricity theft and unauthorized use of electricity under Section 126 and Sections 135 to 139 of the Electricity Act, as well as cases related to investigations and accidents under Section 161. He appealed to all consumers to take advantage of this opportunity for the redressal of their complaints.
