Electoral drama unfolds in Sawai Madhopur

In this year’s assembly elections, the Sawai Madhopur Vidhan Sabha seat has once again become a hot seat. Here, people have disrupted the electoral equations of both the BJP and Congress by fielding independent candidates. Asha Meena, a member of the BJP working committee who defected from the BJP to contest as an independent candidate, has made it challenging for the BJP. Similarly, by contesting as an independent candidate, Allauddin Azad, the son of Congress’s former MLA and Congress leader Aziz Azad, has increased the Congress’s difficulties. Now, all eyes are on the Sawai Madhopur Vidhan Sabha seat.
In Sawai Madhopur Vidhan Sabha, the BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Kirori Lal Meena and Congress’s Danish Abrar are in the fray. Both leaders of their respective parties have rebelled against their parties. As a result, the electoral contest has become exciting. The situation in the Sawai Madhopur Vidhan Sabha seat has become similar to that in both BJP and Congress. Both parties’ candidates have rebelled and fielded independent candidates. Sawai Madhopur Vidhan Sabha seat has become the focus of attention.
Sawai Madhopur Vidhan Sabha, which is currently under the BJP, is now also witnessing upheaval within the Congress. Presently, Danish Abrar is the Congress MLA from here. Congress has shown confidence in Danish Abrar once again and has nominated him as its candidate for the Sawai Madhopur seat. Danish Abrar wants to ensure his victory in the electoral arena based on the development works he has carried out and the welfare schemes of the Congress government. However, the dynamics of Congress have changed significantly due to Aziz Azad, the son of Congress’s former MLA and Congress leader Aziz Azad, who is contesting as an independent candidate after rebelling from Congress.
In the Sawai Madhopur Vidhan Sabha, the Meena and Muslim voters are in larger numbers. Therefore, both BJP and Congress have announced candidates by considering the caste equation. Now, both parties have fielded rebels who have disrupted their respective communities. In this scenario, the division of Meena and Muslim voters is highly probable.
The decision of who will be crowned the winner now lies in the hands of the voters in the municipal council area. In the previous elections as well, the role of the voters of the district headquarters was crucial in sending leaders who won from the Vidhan Sabha to the assembly. In addition to the BJP and Congress, other party candidates and independent candidates are also in the electoral arena, and to some extent, they may harm both major parties.
After dividing caste-based voters, it seems that the voters in the 60 wards of the municipal council area will determine the winners and losers.
