THANE : The lifeless body of Dr. Shiraj Khan, a 65-year-old physician from Mumbra, was discovered near his clinic in Thane’s Shil-Daighar area, displaying multiple wounds. The doctor, who had attended to patients until 1 am, did not return home and was found dead around 2 km from his clinic. Authorities are conducting a post-mortem examination at a government hospital. Police are reviewing CCTV footage in an attempt to unravel the circumstances surrounding his demise, suspecting foul play by unidentified individuals who may have killed the doctor and left his body on the roadside. No charges have been filed as of yet
