EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS PLAY CRUCIAL ROLE IN DEVELOPMENT: GOVERNOR

Haryana Governor and Chancellor, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa Bandaru Dattatreya said that educational institutions play a crucial role in the development of the nation. Universities should sign MoUs with various skill development and private and public entities to promote entrepreneurship. Along with the degree, attention will also have to be paid to character building and this can be fulfilled through moral education. The Chancellor was speaking as the chief guest during a seminar on Higher Education and Skill Development organised in the university auditorium. In the presence of Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ajmer Singh Malik, the Governor released the first edition of Triveni, a magazine of Directorate of Youth Welfare and congratulated the editorial board.  Prof Malik said that it is a golden opportunity for the University that the Chancellor has come here to encourage the students, research scholars, professors and employees.
