EC starts Lok Sabha election process

Lok Sabha election is still around eight months away. Before that, assembly elections of five states have to be completed. However, election officials have planned to visit states where assembly polls are not due. It is learned that officials of the Election Commission, led by Deputy Election Commissioner, will first visit West Bengal next month. From there, they will be visiting other states to review the basic preparations for the Lok Sabha poll. The present government has made it clear that the Modi government will complete its term and then face the Lok Sabha poll.
