Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, paid a visit to Nagpur’s flood-affected areas on Sunday.
Fadnavis visited the areas hit by the flooding and gave the go-ahead to the necessary actions from the responsible officials.
Following significant rains and a flood-like scenario in some regions of Nagpur, a few homes and a number of vehicles were destroyed in those locations, including the Ambazari Layout area and the Corporation Colony area.
Due to heavy rainfall, Nagpur city on Saturday witnessed severe waterlogging in many areas resulting in a flood-like situation.
