The monsoon is expected to come to a halt in the state, and there may be an increase in temperature due to the intense sunlight. Weather experts predict that the wind direction in Rajasthan has changed, forming an anti-cyclone. As a result, rainfall in the state is likely to significantly decrease from Thursday, and temperatures may rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
In the past 24 hours, there has been light to moderate rainfall in several parts of Pali, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Sirohi, Bhilwara, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, and Banswara. The highest recorded rainfall was 36 mm in Delwara, Sirohi. Udiara in Tonk also received more than an inch of rain.
Places like Khandar in Sawai Madhopur, Jhadol in Udaipur, and Deegod in Kota, among others, experienced rainfall ranging from 10 to 20 mm. In the Bali and Rani areas of Pali, there was heavy rainfall with winds blowing at a speed of 43 kilometres per hour and rainfall reaching up to 10 mm.
