Drowning incident: youth loses life in pond

SAVAR: In a tragic incident near the village of Cheetivas, within the jurisdiction of the Savar police station, a young man lost his life when he drowned while bathing in a pond. Upon receiving the information, the Savar police rushed to the scene and, with the assistance of locals, retrieved the young man’s body from the pond and transported it to the Savar Hospital. In-charge of Savar police station, Manvendra Singh, reported that on Sunday morning, Kailash, the deceased, had gone to bathe in the pond.
