Dr. Farooq Abdullah vows loyalty to I.N.D.I.A. bloc at massive New Delhi rally

Former Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, delivered a stirring address at the colossal gathering of political leaders and activists in Ramlila Maidan, New Delhi, reaffirming his unwavering commitment to the “INDIA bloc” until his last breath.
Emphasizing the imperative of fortifying the “I.N.D.I.A. bloc” for the greater good of the country’s Constitution, Abdullah underscored the urgent need to safeguard democratic principles amidst mounting threats.

“Today, our aim is to preserve the Constitution of the country. We are witnessing an onslaught on our Constitution, even the Chief Justice of India is facing threats. This dire situation demands our immediate attention,” Dr. Farooq Abdullah asserted.

Without directly naming the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Abdullah lamented the growing polarization in society, urging citizens to resist attempts to foment communal discord.

“People are being pitted against each other based on religion and ethnicity. We must awaken and raise our voices against this perilous situation. It is imperative to vote against those responsible for leading us into this dire state,” he urged.

The “Loktantra Bachao” (Save Democracy) rally, touted as a demonstration of strength and unity by the “I.N.D.I.A. bloc” ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, witnessed the participation of prominent leaders including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, Tejashwi Yadav, Champai Soren, Mehbooba Mufti, Derek O’Brien, and others.

The rally also expressed solidarity with leaders such as Arvind Kejriwal and Hemand Soren, who have been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Commenting on the arrests, Dr. Farooq Abdullah urged the electorate to vote decisively in the upcoming elections against those seeking to undermine democratic institutions. “We must remain united, transcending religious and ethnic divides. Our strength lies in unity, and we must strengthen the ‘INDIA bloc’ to thwart the divisive agendas of certain elements,” he emphasized.

“We stand together in solidarity. We will not abandon this alliance until our last breath,” Dr. Farooq Abdullah reiterated, echoing the steadfast resolve of the “I.N.D.I.A. bloc” to uphold democratic values and preserve the fabric of Indian society.
