Dominica Grants Highest National Honour to PM Modi

The Commonwealth of Dominica has decided to confer its highest national distinction, the Dominica Award of Honour, on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Comparisons have been drawn to former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, who also earned recognition and respect worldwide, cultivating personal ties with heads of state. Similarly, PM Modi has built strong relationships with international leaders, including former U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

PM Modi’s COVID-19 relief initiatives, such as the distribution of medicines, vaccines, and healthcare support to countries in need, were widely lauded on the global stage, even drawing appreciation from the public in neighboring Pakistan.
