Amid the celebration of the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, a controversy arose in the Khatoali village of the district during the procession of Ram Lalla. A particular community blocked the rally by placing a tractor trolley in the path, objecting to the procession being taken in front of the mosque and the playing of DJ music. Subsequently, the police arrived at the scene and, after strenuous efforts, managed to reopen the route.
On Monday, processions and rallies were organised by the Hindu community on the occasion of the consecration ceremony of the idol of Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. In the Khatoali village of the Tonk district, a community raised objections to the rally being conducted with DJ music in front of the mosque.
They created a hindrance by placing a tractor-trolley in the middle of the road. The situation became tense between both sides. The Uniyara SDM Trilok Chand Meena, CO Rohit Meena, and Uniyara Thana police force reached the spot to resolve the matter.
The police attempted to reach a consensus between the two parties, but the dispute continued for three hours. Later, Tonk Superintendent of Police Rajrishi Raj also arrived at the scene, and after further negotiations, an understanding was reached between both sides.
