Diya Kumari, CP Joshi slam mockery of VP Dhankhar

BJP state president and Chittorgarh MP CP Joshi has termed mimicking Parliament Speaker Jagdeep Dhankhar in the Parliament building as an “insult to the constitution”. He said that in the Parliament premises, Kalyan Banerjee, the TMC MP, has mimicked and mocked Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, the pride of Rajasthan. Joshi said that participating in this mockery by MPs of opposition parties and making videos is not an insult to the Vice President but to the Constitution and the constitutional system of India. BJP state president CP Joshi said, “Making a video to mock the pride of Rajasthan by Rahul Gandhi demonstrates his immaturity. If any MP has any objection to the decision of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha, there is a reasonable system for that. You can present your views in the House based on that system. However, what opposition MPs have done in the Parliament building today will be criticised as much as possible.”
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari also slammed the suspended MPs saying, “Mocking and insulting respected Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji, who holds a higher position like the Vice President of the country, and supporting such actions by people like Rahul Gandhi, making videos, is extremely shameful and condemnable…People indulging in this misconduct with the honourable Vice President can never be the well-wishers of democracy…This misdeed by opposition members is an affront to the dignity of Indian democracy. Today is a ‘black day’ for Indian democracy.”
