DIY hair mask to damage protect your tresses from the monsoon season

The monsoon season offers a welcome break from the soaring temperatures and relentless heat. While the rains bring a refreshing change, the shift in temperature can take a toll on your hair, leaving it dry, frizzy, and vulnerable to damage. Although you may relish the occasional pleasant showers, it’s crucial to safeguard your hair against hair fall and prevent bad hair days.

Dr. Shilpa Vora, Chief Research & Development Officer, Marico Limited shares her expert advice on how you can protect your beautiful tresses from the monsoon humidity and dryness:

To ensure you have an effective, affordable, and long-lasting solution, begin with a regular hair oiling routine. This will help control hair damage and provide your hair with the deep nourishment it deserves. While there are many hair oil options to choose from, you need to pick one with the right ingredients for your hair concern.
Aloe Vera is rich in vitamins and minerals that can nourish the scalp and hair. Hair oil with aloe vera helps protect moisture in hair and prevents it from becoming dry and brittle. This helps make hair stronger and less prone to breakage. It can also help to soothe an irritated scalp and reduce dandruff.

It is recommended to team up aloe vera with a Coconut based hair oil for intense nourishment. This unique blend can penetrate up to 10 layers of your hair. When combined, the intense nourishment of Coconut and the conditioning benefits of Aloe Vera help you control frizz, resulting in soft and healthy hair. This gives you the freedom to style and wear your hair just the way you want to, with utmost ease.

With monsoon around the corner, make the most of these two wonder ingredients by creating a simple yet effective hair mask at home. All you need to do is mix equal proportions of Aloe Vera gel and a Coconut based hair oil in a bowl and massage this gently on your scalp till the hair tips, leaving it for just 30 minutes before washing your hair.
Pro Tip: For best results apply this hair mask 2-3 times a week. You may also choose Parachute Advansed Aloe Vera Enriched Coconut Hair Oil, a non-sticky and lightweight Aloe Vera-enriched coconut based hair oil.

So, start with this regular oiling routine and pamper your hair with this nourishing DIY hair mask it deserves this monsoon season.
