Surabhi Prashar, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (SAS Nagar), paid a visit to Jyoti Saroop Kanya Ashram today. During her interaction with the girls residing in the Ashram, Prashar provided insights into various government schemes aimed at their welfare. She underscored the significance of education and emphasized the importance of maintaining good feminine health.
Prashar also enlightened the girls about the availability of free legal aid services and directed the Ashram’s management to ensure the provision of hygienic meals for the overall well-being and development of the girl children under their care.
The visit coincided with a special program organized by the Pukaar Foundation, an NGO. Surabhi Prashar, serving as the esteemed Chief Guest, added her voice to the foundation’s efforts in advocating for the welfare and empowerment of the girls at Jyoti Saroop Kanya Ashram, Kharar.
