As part of Rainbow Week, on Sunday, a tricycle rally was organised to raise awareness among differently-abled voters. During this event, differently-abled individuals conveyed the message “We are capable, the nation is capable.” A large number of differently-abled individuals participated in the rally riding tricycles and scooters.
Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta mentioned that during the rally, the oath of voting was administered, and every differently-abled individual participating in the rally had discussions about voting, sharing their experiences related to using the facilities provided by the Election Commission of India.
The theme colour for this day is yellow, with the slogan “We will use the right to vote.” On the same day, November 21, there will be a women’s rangoli and women’s march program. Women voters, women employees, women BLOs, and women athletes will participate in this. The theme colour for this day is orange, with the slogan “I will vote, only then will I progress.” On the last day of Rainbow Week, November 22, there will be a vote tree and a deepdaan program. Ethical and informed voters will be made aware during this program. The theme colour for this day is red, with the slogan “It will be on merit, considering, understanding, vote carefully.”
