The Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, currently underway in the district, is scheduled to enter Kalka on January 12th. By January 24, this yatra will cover all the wards of Kalka. Providing information in this regard, Sushil Sarwan stated that the objective of the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra is to convey the public welfare policies of the Central and State Government to the people.
He mentioned that during the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra on January 12, various departments will set up stalls in the morning at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Bhawan and in the evening at Khatik Mohalla. These stalls aim to help beneficiaries resolve issues related to government schemes and provide eligible beneficiaries with the benefits of the schemes on the spot. Additionally, he noted that a live address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be telecast at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Bhawan at 12:15 pm tomorrow.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that on January 13, the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra will be held in the morning at Government School Tagra and in the evening at Guga Medi Bhat Nagar Kalka. On January 15, in the morning at Government School, Kalka, and in the evening at Railway Road, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Bhawan. On January 16, in the morning, it will enter Sitaram Government Primary School Khera, and in the evening, Arya School Kalka, Main Road, Geeta Bhawan Kalka.
He informed that on January 19, in the morning, the yatra will visit the government school of Tipra, and in the evening, there will be Bhairav Ki Sair in Guga Medi. On January 20, in the morning, it will be at the Namdev temple of the village Dharampur, and in the evening, at the Kheda temple of Shiv Colony. On January 22, in the morning, it will reach the government school in Bhogpur, and in the evening, at Himshikha. On January 23, it will reach the government school of Surajpur in the morning and the main bus stand of Surajpur in the evening. Finally, on January 24, it will reach the government school of Subhash Nagar in Prant village Surajpur and the government school of Sanya Ferozepur.
