Deloitte India Boosts Cyber Intelligence With IBM Cloud Integration

Deloitte India and IBM join forces to strengthen Cyber Intelligence Center (CIC), shifting SOC to IBM Cloud, enhancing threat detection amidst evolving regulations.
Deloitte India is taking proactive steps to enhance its cybersecurity operations by partnering with IBM Cloud infrastructure services. This move comes in response to the escalating complexity of cyber threats and the need to comply with stringent data privacy regulations such as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act). By leveraging IBM Cloud and the IBM Security QRadar Suite, Deloitte India’s Cyber Intelligence Center (CIC) aims to bolster its threat detection and response capabilities, ensuring clients’ digital assets remain secure and compliant.

Kamaljit Chawla, Partner at Deloitte India, emphasizes the imperative for Indian businesses to prioritize cybersecurity in the face of evolving threats. The collaboration with IBM represents a significant milestone in Deloitte’s digital transformation journey, enabling the firm to expand its footprint across the region.

IBM Cloud’s scalability promises expedited client onboarding, leading to enhanced customer satisfaction and retention rates. Furthermore, the incorporation of Red Hat® OpenShift® on IBM Cloud offers flexibility in managing resource-intensive workloads, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and edge computing.

Viswanath Ramaswamy, Vice President of Technology at IBM India & South Asia, underscores the urgent need for businesses to fortify their cyber resilience. Through this collaboration, IBM and Deloitte aim to equip Indian businesses with comprehensive cybersecurity solutions to mitigate emerging threats effectively.

In summary, Deloitte India’s transition to IBM Cloud signifies a commitment to strengthening cybersecurity capabilities and addressing the evolving threat landscape and regulatory requirements. This collaboration is poised to empower businesses in India with scalable, flexible, and robust cybersecurity solutions, ensuring their digital resilience in an increasingly complex environment.
