On Rohtak Road, close to Madipur metro station, on Sunday morning, a truck rear-ended a car driven by a Delhi Police inspector, killing him instantly. Inspector Jagbir Singh of the Delhi Police, who was killed, was identified as the victim. Singh is currently assigned to the Security Unit. Inspector Jagbir Singh was outside when his car was struck by the truck while it was stopped due to a mechanical issue, according to the Delhi Police.
The truck driver who caused the collision fled the scene after leaving the truck, according to Delhi Police. The truck driver got out and ran away from the scene. The police further stated that legal action was being taken and that efforts were being made to find the driver.
