In connection with objectionable posters against PM Modi, Delhi Police arrested six people and registered more than 100 FIRs across the national capital. As per the allegations, posters with the caption “Modi Hatao Desh Bachao” were found in some parts of Delhi.
However, the names of the printing press and publishers have not been mentioned. The Delhi Police started a probe to reach the bottom of the matter.
The FIR has been registered in different districts across the city under sections of the Printing Press Act and the Defacement of Property Act, the police said.
The Special CP also said that a van was also intercepted as soon as it left the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) office. A few posters were seized, and six culprits have been arrested so far.
Further investigation is underway in the case.
