Following a thorough search, Delhi Police on Monday captured three alleged Islamic State (IS) terrorists who were wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The module, acting under the direction of handlers based abroad, planned to carry out terrorist attacks in North India, according to Delhi Police. Police reported that they had recovered “incriminating material, including materials suspected of being used to make IEDs.” Only a few days after the NIA announced a reward of Rs. 3 lakh on him, Shahnawaz, one of the suspected terrorists, was detained by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police.
