Delhi LG Vinay Kumar Saxena has directed chief secretary to recover Rs 97 crore from the ruling party Aam Aadmi Party for the political advertisements it published as government ads. The order comes days after AAP ran a successful poll campaign for Delhi’s civic body.
LG’s directions comes in reference to the alleged violation of the Supreme Court orders in 2015 and Delhi High Court orders in 2016 besides norms set by the court-mandated Committee on the Content regulation in Government advertising(2016).
