Delhi girl child burnt with tongs and beaten by relative in RK Puram

A 7-year-old girl child was burnt with tongs and beaten up by her relative and their son in the R.K. Puram area, the police revealed on Wednesday. Although the accused son has been arrested but the woman who is a paternal aunt of the victim is absconding. As per the cops, the girl’s body bore marks of burns and knife cuts.

The police officials received the complaint in connection with the case on Friday, February 10, 2023 after which they registered an FIR and accused son was nabbed on Monday. As per a report by ANI, the accused woman works as a nurse at Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi.
