A four-story building that was still under construction in Delhi’s Azad Market neighbourhood fell on Friday morning.
According to fire department officials, four people who were injured in the incident have been taken to the hospital for treatment, and at least six more people are still thought to be trapped. Currently, the search and rescue effort is in progress.
At around 8:30 am, the fire department received a report about the incident, and four fire tenders were dispatched to the scene.
At least five people were reportedly thought to be trapped beneath the debris at first. However, after saving three people, the authorities increased their estimate to at least six.
