BJP withdraws from Municipal Corporation Mayor Election

BJP has decided to withdraw from Municipal Corporation mayor and mayor Election. “This has been done because despite all our efforts, the Aam Aadmi Party is not allowing the formation of permanent committees and ward committees, due to which no work is being done in the Municipal,” says Shikha Rai, BJP mayoral candidate. “I had filed nomination as a candidate on behalf of the largest party. But the aim of our party is not that we only want power. Last days we were expecting that the Standing Committee elections would also be held but this matter is pending in the court and dates are being taken in it. Therefore, till the rest of the constitutional process will be completed, I withdraw my name, demanding that the committee to be formed,” she added.
