A spate at the Sahastradhara River, a popular tourist destination in Dehradun, has been caused by continuous downpours since early this morning, officials said on Wednesday. The Sahastradhara River has risen in Dehradun as a result of the nonstop rain that has been falling there since 4:00 am today, according to the Dehradun Police. The officials also warned residents living near the Sahastradhara area to exercise caution because the nearby rivers were also in a spate.
