Former chief minister of Punjab and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Parkash Singh Badal was hospitalised to a private hospital in Mohali. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh called today to check on him and wished him a swift recovery.
According to Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Friday, Badal was brought to the ICU after complaining of breathing issues. Singh, who discovered he had COVID on April 20, claimed to have spoken with Sukhbir Badal, the president of SAD and Badal’s son.
“Spoke to Shri Sukhbir Badal and inquired about the health of former Chief Minister of Punjab, Shri Prakash Singh Badal ji, who is hospitalised. Praying for his good health and speedy recovery,” the Minister tweeted.
