Punjab Civil Services 2020 batch officer, Deepankar Garg, assumed charge as the Sub Divisional Magistrate of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) Sub Division today.
Garg emphasized that delivering on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Aashika Jain would be his top priority, ensuring prompt disposal of files and work without causing delays. He reiterated the commitment of the Punjab Chief Minister, Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab Government, to extend the benefits of welfare schemes and flagship programs to all eligible individuals. Garg invited anyone with grievances related to the Mohali Sub Division to contact his office.
Having previously served as SDM Morinda and Assistant Commissioner (General) in Rupnagar and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Deepankar Garg, a 2012 batch graduate in B.Tech Civil Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Before joining PCS (Executive) in 2020, he served as an ETO and Tehsildar as part of PCS allied services. Garg underwent training from January 2020 to July 2021 at the Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar DC Office.
