The Chairman and Members of the consumer grievance redressal forum of the North Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation Circle Forum in Panchkula will convene for proceedings on March 6th at 11:30 am. The meeting will take place at the office of the Superintending Engineer in Panchkula, located at SCO No. 96, 1st Floor, Sector-5.
The Corporation’s spokesperson emphasised the commitment to ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply to consumers. Various proactive programs are being implemented to promptly address consumer issues.
The forum, comprising its members, will address a range of consumer problems in the Panchkula district, including concerns related to billing, voltage, metering, disconnection and connection, power supply interruptions, efficiency, security, reliability, and non-compliance with orders from the Haryana Electricity Regulator.
It is important to note that the Forum will not handle cases involving penalties and fines related to electricity theft and unauthorized use under Section 126 and Section 135 to 139 of the Electricity Act. Additionally, cases related to investigations and accidents under Section 161 will not be within the Forum’s purview.
