JAIPUR: The state government will construct 16 hostels for Scheduled Caste students in various districts. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial proposal of 16 crores for this purpose. With this approval, hostel buildings will be constructed in Bhiwadi, Gangapur City, Pratapgarh, Bahraunda, Alwar, Suratgarh, Rayapur, Udaipur, Kanoor, Kuchaman City, Savitribai Phule Hostels and Jhalawar, for Scheduled Caste female students. In Pachpadra, Kalyanpur, Phalsund, Jaisalmer, Uniara, Tonk, Jaitasar, Churu, Osian, Jodhpur, and Sri Ganganagar, hostels for Scheduled Caste male students will be constructed. The construction of each hostel building will cost 1 crore rupees. This will provide a better environment for Scheduled Caste students for their studies, enabling them to build a brighter future.
