Cong’s win in Karanpur signals public discontent with BJP: Sachin Pilot

The Congress secured a victory on the Shrikaranpur assembly seat on Monday. Expressing his joy over the win, Sachin Pilot stated that although the BJP holds the government, the people, youth, and farmers are still with the Congress.
Sachin Pilot remarked that the time taken by the BJP in forming the ministry has made it clear to the public that the government is not responding to the issues for which the people voted. He emphasized that even though it’s a bit early, the results in Shrikaranpur indicate that the public stands with the Congress, especially the youth and farmers. Addressing the defeat of the BJP candidate Surendrapal Singh Titi on the Shrikaranpur seat, Sachin Pilot stated that they were confident of winning from the beginning of the campaign.
The public has understood, and losing in Shrikaranpur is a setback for the BJP, signalling a warning to the BJP government in Rajasthan. The public is vigilant because the BJP, upon coming to power, has eliminated jobs and employment opportunities in Rajasthan.
Sachin Pilot had reached Dausa in Rajasthan, where he stated that Rahul Gandhi is soon starting the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.’ This initiative will encourage and inspire people.
He also addressed the issue of Manipur, claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not visit Manipur, even though corruption and atrocities are at their peak there. Rahul Gandhi, concerned about the events in Manipur, has decided to commence the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ from Manipur. The victory in Shrikaranpur and Sachin Pilot’s statements underscore the ongoing political dynamics in Rajasthan and indicate a growing dissatisfaction among the public with the current government.
