Congress wants increase in Apple prices by private players

The Himachal Pradesh Congress leadership has complained that private companies have announced Apple prices at extremely low prices. Kuldeep Singh Rathore, a Congress lawmaker from Theog Assembly, the center of Shimla district’s apple production, and spokesperson for the All India Congress Committee, claimed that Adani and other private players had set the market price of apples at just Rs. 95 per kilogram, which is extremely low.

“Adani’s rate will affect the apple market. Adani group should increase the price of all with immediate effect. He said that he has also spoken to the Chief Minister in this regard. The government has not even signed any agreement with Adani,” Rathore said.
