Congress to hold meeting of newly-elected Himachal Pradesh MLAs in Shimla

Congress has convened a meeting for its MLAs following their win in Himachal elections. The meeting is scheduled for Friday at 4 pm in order to decide its next chief minister. The Congress has four candidates to choose from for its next chief minister. The meeting will take place at Radisson hotel in Shimla.

The frontrunner is Congress’s Himachal Pradesh chief Pratibha Singh, the wife of Virbhadra Singh who was the Congress’s tallest leader in the hill state until his death last year.  Rajeev Shukla, in-charge of the Himachal Pradesh Congress, and supervisors Bhupesh Baghel and Bhupendra Hooda will also be present at the meeting.
