The Election Commission of India and the Income Tax Department are functioning independently. Those who have done mistakes will be caught. Why the Congress leaders are afraid. They are adopting this tactic as they are scared that the black money amassed all these years will come out, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
He told reporters near Vidhana Soudha here on Wednesday that the Election Commission has been raiding all parties and seizing items. The Congress Party is trying to put pressure on officials who are conducting raids impartially and stop it. Why the Congress leaders were so scared? The IT officials are deputed to every district.
The CM ruled out any connection with the Election Commission and the BJP’s defeat and said it is certain that the Congress Party will lose in the coming Assembly polls. “We are confident of the victory”.
