Randeep Singh Surjewala, Member of Parliament and Secretary, Indian National Congress, posed five questions to the BJP-JJP administration on Monday. Commenting over the deteriorating administration, Surjewal posed five questions which included:
1. Isn’t it a grave injustice to the youth appearing for the HTET Exam 2023 in Haryana?
2. Between 2019 and 2023, none of the 12,52,422 youth in Haryana received employment based on the HTET exams. Is this not cruel mockery of Haryana’s unemployed youth?
3. Does the recruitment of teachers in three categories through the HTET exam in Haryana contradict the standards set by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)? Will the Haryana government explain why this was done? Are the NCTE standards insignificant? What is the Haryana government trying to prove by undermining the NCTE criteria?
4. Did the Haryana government show disregard for the prescribed syllabus of the HTET Exam 2023? Were questions asked based on grammar and language contrary to the HTET syllabus? If not, how were such questions posed?
5. Will the Haryana government acknowledge its mistake and provide grace marks to all the youth who appeared for the HTET 2023 exam? Will the Chief Minister seek forgiveness from these lakhs of youths for the government’s incompetence and negligence?
Is this not severe injustice towards the youth taking the HTET Exam 2023 in Haryana?
